Populist Leader in Life-Threatening Condition
Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico was seriously injured on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, after being shot in an attempted assassination, according to President Zuzana Čaputová. The populist leader was transported to a hospital and was reported to be in life-threatening condition.
